- An Unusual Gold Chronograph Wristwatch with Register
Circa 1998, No. 3475E, Ref 3237
18k, nickel lever movement, monometallic compensation balance, 21 jewels, micrometer regulator, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, two-tone dial with silvered guilloché center, black chapter ring with Roman numerals, outer track with Arabic five-minute divisions calibrated for 60 units, Breguet hands, two engine-turned subsidiary dials calibrated for constant seconds and 30-minute register, circular case, coin-edge band with two round chronograph pushers, sapphire crystal display back, case, dial and movement signed.
Accompanied by a fitted Breguet presentation box and outer cardboard packaging, suede Breguet soft pouch and repair paperwork from September 2006.
The elegant two-tone effect on the dial makes the present lot very visually appealing and rather unusual. The present lot was possibly made as a special order, considering similar dials have not been seen.
