Catalogue Note

When Ref. 3448 was launched in 1962, it was the first automatic perpetual calendar wristwatch in the market. According to our research, there were only 586 pieces made until 1982, and the current lot with ruby baguette hour indices is first time offered in auction. It is believed that the special dial was ordered on special request, and has never appeared in the Patek Philippe catalogue.
