nickel lever movement stamped with the Geneva Seal (Cal. 215 HG), 18 jewels, gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, silvered dial, aperture for jumping hours, centre blued steel moon hand, tonneau shaped case with polished bezel, case back with Patek Philippe 150th anniversary inscription, case, dial and movement signed, with a platinum Patek buckle.

Reference 3969 was launched in a limited series of 500 pieces in 1989 to commemorate the 150th Jubilee Anniversary of Patek Philippe. In total, 450 pieces were in pink gold and 50 pieces were made in platinum.
