18k, damascened nickel lever movement with gold-edge rotor (cal.28-255C), 36 jewels, gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, 'Vermeer' dial, applied faceted baton numerals, aperture for date, large polished cushion form case, water-resistant-type case, case, dial and movement signed, with integrated 18k white gold Patek Philippe bracelet and clasp, accompanied by an Extract from the Archives
Catalogue Note
The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1973 and sold on July 17th, 1975.
Production of reference 3604/1 "Golden Circle", the so-called "Television", began in 1971 and ended around 1974 (although a similar reference 3604/2 continued until the end of the decade). The dial was referred to as the 'Vermeer' dial. To the best of our knowledge, only two or three other examples in white gold have appeared publicly.
