Catalogue Note

The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1950 and sold on March 15th, 1951.

Reference 2468 was manufactured for a relatively short period of time between 1949 and the mid 1950s. It very closely resembles the more common reference 1593 and is just 2mm smaller in length and width. There have been only 20 yellow gold examples of ref.2468 identified from the market, compared to over 90 of the ref.1593. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that the current example has been offered at auction.
