Catalogue Note

According to the Patek Philippe Archives, the movement and case of this wristwatch do not match one another. However, referring to the note of lot 163, one can see that another example of the reference with a case made in 1946/7 was not completed until 1968 and then sold in 1982. It may well be that this wristwatch was, in a similar way, completed much after its own case's production. Indeed, our reserach suggests that the case of this wristwatch was delivered by the case maker to Patek Philippe in 1947.
