Catalogue Note
The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1954 and sold on May 14th the same year.
Reference 2532 was the successor to ref.565 and production seems to have been limited to just a few years between 1952 and circa 1955. Like the ref.565, it is notable for its water-resistant type case with screw-down back, however, the 2532 has a distinctive stepped bezel rather than the faceted wide case top of its predecessor.
