Catalogue Note
The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this watch was manufactured in 1942, left the factory with an engraving on the case back and was sold on December 22nd the same year.
Ref.715 is one of the most classic Patek Philippe dress watch references and from the late 1960s could be found with unique cloisonné, champlevé or miniature enamelling. Production of the reference ceased in the mid 1970s when it was replaced by ref.866.
