Circa 1920's Spalding Figural "Fielder" Trophy

In the 1920's and early 1930's Spalding, through their sporting goods catalogues, offered five different expensive figural trophies. Today they are appreciated as some of the most artistic baseball figural displays ever created. This is the "Fielder" version from the series. Meticulously detailed and cast, it measures 6" wide by 16" tall. It is structurally sound, however lacks its 1" tall original wood base.
