Figural Baseball Trophy c.1880-90's

This regal trophy features attractive Victorian style elements depicting an early uniformed player holding an oversize ball shaped cup. The cup is extensively decorated with two etched player figures and floral garniture, inscribed on one side for the North Eastern Church Base Ball League. 16" tall marked Meriden Silver Co. under base. The trophy is in excellent condition.
