1890's Lenox China Football Player Pitcher, Artist Signed "Ol Kemp"

A detailed painted image of a period footballer decorates the sized of this 14 1/2" tall pitcher. The artist's signature "OL Kemp" appears below the image and the Lenox stamp appears on the bottom. OL (Oliver) Kemp was a well known illustrator whose work appeared regulary on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post. The single-handled, highly decorated pitcher is in virtually pristine condition.
