1986-87 FLEER BASKETBALL FULL UNOPENED BOX OF 36 PACKS

Fleer was the first legitimate company to produce a nationally distributed basketball card set after 1982. Relatively limited production and an incredible crop of rookies has made it the only modern set that can truly be called a "classic". This box contains 36 untouched packs holding 12 cards each plus one sticker. With the series being limited to 132 cards, its bounty will yield 432 cards with 36 stickers. Odds are that multiple examples of the highly prized Michael Jordan Rookie card are waiting to be found in addition to the Jordan sticker. Also worthy of consideration are the numerous examples of all-important rookie cards of Barkley, Ewing, Wilkins, Malone, Olajuwon, Drexler, and Thomas sure to be had. The April 2007 SMR lists the Jordan Rookie at $1250 in MINT PSA 9 and $6000 in Gem MINT 10 while the Jordan Sticker commands $210 and $3250 respectively.
