Description

The Delong Gum Company of Boston, Massachusetts was one of the first to issue baseball cards packaged along with their main product, bubble gum. Their cards arrived on store shelves around the same time as their competitor, Goudey, in 1933. DeLong cards would prove to be a one-year wonder, leaving a relatively small sampling of cards from their lone 24-card set for modern day collectors. This complete set is comprised of cards mostly in the G to VG range with several of the keys being PSA graded. Keys are: #1 McManus G, 2 Simmons G-VG, 4 Terry PSA 3 VG, 5 Gehringer G-VG, 6 Cochrane PSA 4 VG-EX, 7 Gehrig PSA 3 VG, 8 Cuyler PSA 3 VG, 10 O'Doul VG, 11 Lindstrom PSA 3 VG, 12 Traynor PSA 4 VG-EX, 13 Maranville G-VG, 14 Gomez PSA 4 VG-EX, 17 Martin VG-EX(OC), 19 Hafey PSA 4 VG-EX, 21 Foxx PSA 3 VG, 22 Klein PSA 3 VG, 23 Grove G, 24 Goslin G.
