Description
The use of the term "dynasty" was never more appropriate than when used to describe the Celtic's reign during the decade of the 1960's as they won the NBA championship every year but 1967. Dating from the height of that era, this Boston Celtics road shooting shirt and trunks were used by man at the "center" of it all, Hall of Famer Bill Russell. In the neck of Russell's shooting shirt is the "Horace Partridge" label which includes the size "46." Across the front is the name "Boston" and on the back is Russell's player number "6." Both the name and number are made of white tackle twill. Included with the shirt are trunks. In the waistband is the "Wilson" label with the size tag "38" adjacent. Below is a green patch with his player number "6" done in white chain stitch. Both items shows considerable wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind. LOAs from MEARS (A9) and Grey Flannel.
