The New York Yankees 1953 World Series victory capped an amazing run of five consecutive World Championships for baseball's most storied franchise, breaking the record of their 1936-1939 predecessors. A full twenty-six signatures appear on this OAL (Harridge) ball including; Stengel, Blackwell, Ford, Gorman, Kuzava, Lopat, McDonald, Raschi, Reynolds, Scarborough, Berra, Houk, Silvera, Bollweg, Carey, Collins, Martin, McDougald, Miranda, Mize, Rizzuto, Bauer, Mantle, Noren, Renna and Woodling. This ball is in near mint condition overall with signatures averaging 9/10. On the west panel is the added notation "World Champs 1953" in an unidentified hand.
