Description
The Yankees celebrated their Golden Anniversary in 1952 with another World Series title. It marked their fourth consecutive and fifth championship in six years. They would appear in the World Series ten more times from 1952-63. This OAL (Harridge) baseball bears 26 signatures including; Bauer, Berra, Brideweser, Collins, Gorman, Hogue, Houk, Kuzava, Lopat, Mantle, Martin, McDonald, McDougald, Miller, Mize, Morgan, Noren, Ostrowski, Raschi, Reynolds, Rizzuto, Sain, Segrist, Silvera, Stengel and Woodling. This ball is in EX-MT condition with a very light coat of shellac. Signatures average 8/10. On the stamped side is the added notation "1952 World Champs" in Stengel's hand and "1952 W Series" in Stengel's hand on the west panel. LOAs from PSA/DNA, JSA and the Stengel family.
