In this three paragraph letter, dated September 19, 1947 and signed “Robert T. Jones Jr.”, the great golfer discusses the Augusta National Club and its food needs being taken care of by “our colored steward” with closing reference to the new golf club being constructed (later opening as the famous Peach Tree).
