Collection of twenty-eight single signed 3 1/8" by 2 1/4" snapshots encompasses the majority of the players and key individuals representing the United States during their historic Tour of Japan in 1934. Among the many highlights in this remarkable group is a single signed snapshot of Moe Berg. This piece represents the only Berg signature to appear on a photo in Mr. Fujita’s vast collection. Includes; Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Berg, Averill, Brown (2), Cascarella (2), Gehringer, Gomez, Hayes (2), Hillerich, Mack, Maranville, McNair, Miller, O'Doul, Quinn (3), Schroeder, Suzuki, Warren and Whitehill (3). Ruth, Gehrig and Foxx's signatures are nearly flawless with each rating no less than 9/10. Moe Berg's signature rates 8/10 minimally and the others average 7-9/10. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
