partially rubbed maker's mark IGR crowned incuse for Jean-George RĂ©mond, Geneva, circa 1800



rectangular with cut corners, the lid painted en plein with the Judgement of Paris, the sides and base with opaque white enamel and cream-coloured restorations, within multi-coloured paillon leaf and white line borders, the corners with paillon urns on blue grounds

Condition

As noted in the catalogue description, the sides (save one) and base have been restored. The lid is in good condition, with minor scratches and shallow enamel losses, one of which (at white line border) has been restored.
