maker's mark G.B crowned incuse, probably Geneva, circa 1785



oval, the lid chased with a central panel of a dog approaching two birds beneath a flaming urn, the ground and sides with engine-turned devices within chased foliate borders, the base engraved with a sea view

Condition

Very good condition. Some wear to raised decoration, one shallow dent to base. Could do with a cleaning.
