oval, the surface finely reeded and scattered with flowerheads within beaded foliate borders, the sides divided by acanthus-crowned pilasters

Condition

There is wear to the engine-turned surfaces and chased borders. The sides have a number of shallow dents, with one additionally to the left side of the lid. The lid interior has dents near the edge at front.
