Condition

Please note: The first three boxes in this lot are struck with local marks for gold and/or have tested positive for gold; however, as they lack UK import marks and are of post-1922 manufacture, UK hallmarking regulations prevent us from describing them as gold. Condition generally good: First: The interior of the lid with pin pricks. Second: Loss to scrolly gold mount at right side of rear. The hinge repaired and loose. Third: Minor losses to lid panel, visible in catalogue photo. The hinge slightly loose. Fourth: Minor wear to gilding. One narrow split to metal at side of lid.
