oval, the lid enamelled en plein with sailing ships on a sunset lake, the sides and base panels painted with flowers on a citrus yellow ground, the borders looped and flowered in multi-coloured taille d'épargne enamels

Condition

Generally excellent condition and appearance. There are areas of restoration to the red enamel ribbons at the sides. Some lid pins lacking, others inserted too deep leaving holes visible. Small surface chip to back enamel panel at centre.
