of scalloped oval form, the lid mounted with a panoply of chased gold and rose diamond-set arms within a rose diamond frame and multi-coloured taille d'épargne floral border, the sides with further flowers on alternating pink and turquoise grounds, the base with a central floral spray within opaque pink and green and translucent red enamel borders, the interior of the lid engraved with a panoply of arms and festoons

The central lid panel is missing its left branch (see catalogue photo). The lid has been off and there are lid pins lacking. The hinge has been repaired and is slightly loose. Lid closure gap. The engraved interior lid panel has been out and put back upside down; pin pricks to interior of base. Losses to white line enamel borders, some of which are visible in the catalogue photo. Losses to pink enamel at lid, base and back. The base with scratches to enamel.
