Catalogue Note
The view of Geneva is taken from the Isle de la Machine and showing the Salève rising above the Rues Basses on the right. It would appear to date from after the construction of the Hôtel des Bergues, on the left, in 1834 and before the construction of the Pont du Mont Blanc in 1862.
