apparently unmarked, probably German, circa 1825
rectangular, the lid inset with a Geneva enamel panel painted with an idealised view of the Bosphorus, leaftip border, the sides and base diamond engine-turned within richly chased coloured gold scrolling leaf and flower borders

Condition
Generally very good condition and well-painted. The hinge has been repaired, with markings to the interior of the lid near the hinge. Otherwise, the interior is in excellent condition. The enamel panel with minor undulations from firing. The base border in need of a clean.
