apparently unmarked apart from French petit charançon import mark, probably English, circa 1825



rectangular with convex lid, the gold cagework mounts engined-turned with banded waves and enclosing tiger's eye panels, chased foliate thumbpiece

Condition

Excellent condition and highly attractive. One side panel is ever-so-slightly loose within the cagework.
