  • width 7cm, 2 3/4 in
makers' mark M&H below a flourish incuse, probably Geneva, circa 1785



oval, the lid chased with central panel of a dog barking at birds within laurel borders, the ground, sides and base with engine-turned devices within laurel-chased borders

Condition

Dents to back, front, lid and right side. Some wear. Interior lid lining slightly convex in centre. Several losses of gold sections from base rim at sides.
