Description

Jean-George Rémond & Co., Geneva, 1807-1814, the contemporary movement unmarked but scratched with restorer's signature: F. White 1866



rectangular, the lid cut and picked out in dark blue enamel with a central oval trophée d'amour, the ground, sides and base scale engine-turned within tulip and leaf scroll borders on a sablé ground, the movement playing one tune on pinned barrel with 12 blocks of separately screwed tines grouped 3 per block

Condition

Some losses to enamel line border, some of which are visible in catalogue photo. Repaired split bottom left of front and dent centre back. The mechanism is currently not functioning and is not guaranteed by us. PLEASE NOTE: The box was photographed upside down.
