- dishes 65cm, 25 1/2 in wide
the shaped oval dishes with a border of shells, scrolling foliage and flowers, crested on rims, the two-handled heater bases on four bun feet, the lobed domes with a conforming rim of shells, foliage and flower decoration, engraved crests on either side, detachable handles formed as a crest of a hunting horn suspended by a bow on a bed of leaves
Condition
Marks on dishes good also stamped 114. No marks on the domes or bases. Bases raised on silver plated bun feet with extra central pimple in each covered by beize. Handles fixed not revolving. Finials attached with screws and nuts. General condition is good, engraving and modelling crisp, some knife marks on the dishes and little general minor dents overall commensurate with age. Not exactly same size. One meat dish 61cm, other 64cm long, one dome 48.5cm, other 52cm long. Overall very impressive pieces in good condition
