Condition

Overall excellent condition. The prototype of this stool was executed by pouring the pewter into the form in the sand, thus created the textured exterior. This is the first time that a work by Max Lamb is being offered at auction.

Catalogue Note

Max Lamb began his early career as a designer in the studio of Tom Dixon after receiving his Masters degree from the Royal College of Art. He now runs his own design studio exploring funiture in various mediums. The current lot is from a series of stools, which developed from casting the works in sand.
