Condition

Overall in excellent condition. The surfaces throughout with surface dirt, minor scratches and minor losses to the painted surface. One larger area of concentrated scratches with losses to paint on the top of the lamp's base. The monumental floor lamp can be altered in height, although it requires assistance to maintain its maximum height. The lamp also has plastic risers which can be filled with water or sand and can be placed under the base for additional weight (not shown in the catalogue illustration). Electrically stable and has a glass globe that fits in over the socket, which is made to appear like a light bulb. Lamp currently lacks the hardware to attach this globe. Some of the metal springs with signs of oxidation and possibly minor corrosion, but are still quite functional. Beanie, the Dachshund, is not included.
