Condition

Relined. surface is clean and painting is presentable as is. there is excellent retention of the paint surface with nice, thick impasto and lovely detail. a craquelure pattern can be seen throughout the sky, but is not too distracting. under UV: there are only a few tiny dots of retouching on the belly and legs of cow in right foreground, a few on and around the head of the seated woman, and a few scattered in sky. In a carved and gilt wood frame with some nicks.
