Comprising a necklace, a bracelet and a ring, the triple-strand necklace centering a cluster motif of bombé form, set with 382 round diamonds weighing approximately 47.50 carats and 33 cushion-shaped emeralds, the bracelet designed as a series of bombé-form clusters set with 306 round diamonds weighing approximately 29.40 carats and cushion and pear-shaped emeralds, the ring centering a cushion-shaped emerald surrounded by 28 round diamonds weighing approximately 3.35 carats, all mounted in 18 karat gold, necklace and bracelet lengths 14½ and 7½ inches respectively, ring size 4½, signed M. Gerard, numbered 2644, 2645 and 2646, assay marks, maker's marks.
Condition
In good overall condition with no apparent wear to the mountings of the bracelet and necklace. The ring displays surface wear, minor nicking and evidence of sizing. The emeralds are medium-deep green and moderately included. Minor chipping to several emeralds in the necklace and bracelet; the emerald in the ring is chipped and bears surface-reaching feathers. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The necklace and bracelet are fitted with safety hinges.
