Description
Comprising a pendant-brooch/necklace, a pair of earclips and a brooch, the group set with oval and round cabochon sapphires within borders of foliate scrolls, the whole set with a total of 46 cabochon sapphires and 540 round, single-cut and baguette diamonds weighing a total of approximately 15.75 carats, mounted in platinum, necklace length 17 inches, center detaches to be worn separately as a brooch. Together with a second necklace fitting with diamond-set terminals, the total diamond weight approximately 5.50 carats.
Condition
All pieces are in good condition. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. Sapphires are an attractive medium blue with some inclusions that break the surface, usual to this type of material, and are well matched for color. All pieces are signed within an S except for the brooch. The additional diamond-set necklace segment is 14 inches long and does not appear to fit any of the other pieces.
