The case decorated with bright green basse-taille enamel over a pattern of eagles and laurel wreathes, surmounted by a diamond-set rosette, the case rim set with rose-cut diamonds, reversing to a matte cream dial with black Arabic numerals, rose-cut diamond pendant loop, dial signed Tiffany & Co., interior engraved "A.E.W. June 15th, 1910," signed Ed. Husson Paris, 2563, movement signed Ed. Husson, suspended from a chain composed of tapered baton links similarly decorated with bright green enamel, length 25 inches.
Condition
Overall good condition. Watch is presently running. The movement is signed Ed. Husson and is stamped with French assay marks and English import marks. The dust cover is inscribed and dated as mentioned in the catalogue description and is also stamped with English import marks. Dial is signed Tiffany & Co. in black enamel and there is the faint impression of a second Tiffany & Co. signature and France beneath. The chain length is measured without the center fringe. The enamel shows only minute damage in a few places, the rose-cut diamonds are of decorative quality. See Important Notice Regarding Condition of Watches on page 281 of the catalogue.
