Description
The rectangular envelope of floral patterned silk with navy silk interior accented with a detachable two-color gold leaf ornament, a fixed mirror under the flap, the interior with a several compartments and a change purse, 9 by 6ΒΌ inches, interior silk signed Cartier, leaf signed Cartier, numbered 483.
Condition
Good condition with very minor soiling and wear to the exterior fabric. The detachable gold leaf is in good condition. The dark blue silk lining is lightly soiled/discolored. A card tucked into one of the interior pockets reads "KINDLY NOTE: Due to present conditions, Leathers, Suede and Fabrics cannot be guaranteed against crocking, rain spotting or fading of colour, Cartier." The mirror is in good condition with very small bits of detritus under the glass.
