Comprising a necklace, a bracelet and a ring, set with a continuous pattern of pear-shaped turquoise cabochons within borders of oval-shaped cabochon sapphires and round diamonds, the necklace set with 180 round diamonds weighing approximately 25.00 carats, the bracelet with 72 round diamonds weighing approximately 10.00 carats, and the ring with 30 round diamonds weighing approximately 5.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold, necklace and bracelet lengths 19¾ inches and 7 ¼ inches respectively, may be joined together to form a longer necklace, ring size 6¾, signed M. Gerard, numbered 1323, assay marks and maker's marks.
Condition
Very good condition. The turquoises are an attractive medium-light greenish blue and are generally well-matched (some examples slightly more greenish than others). Good overall color distribution with minor brownish patching; the turquoise on the ring has several small spots of color concentration. The sapphires are medium-deep blue and bear typical inclusions. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The necklace is fitted with a retractable pendant loop.
