Description

The handle decorated on both sides with onyx segments of conforming shape within borders of single-cut diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 2.10 carats, maker's mark CH in an oval, numbered 51088. 

Condition

Onyx is in good shape, the diamonds are of decorative quality. The lenses have small scratches, otherwise good condition. There are Bacchus head assay marks and PT950 for platinum as well as a maker's mark CH and serial number. The lorgnette opens by pulling down on the ring at the neck of the handle. There is a plain pendant loop on handle end.
