Description
The bracelet, circa 1940, decorated centrally with the name MAUREEN in single-cut diamond letters, flanked by openwork straps set with 29 round diamonds within borders of small single-cut diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 5.35 carats, mounted in white gold, length 6¾ inches; the first pin designed as a palmette, accented with segments of jade and coral and set with 23 round diamonds weighing approximately 1.65 carats, mounted in platinum, and a second stickpin designed as a fleur-de-lis, set with a pear-shaped diamond weighing approximately 1.00 carat, a pear-shaped ruby and a pear-shaped emerald, accented with small single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Bracelet is in very good condition, diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity, completed by a safety chain. Palmette pin is in good condition, there is a pendant loop soldered on to the stem, diamonds are G-H color, VS-I clarity. The pin of the stickpin is soldered on, the fleur-de-lis was possibly part of another jewel, the pear-shaped diamond is I-J color, I clarity, the emerald and ruby are lively colors, moderately included.
