Description
Comprising a necklace, a pair of flower brooches and a pair of flower earclips, the triple-strand collar set with small round diamonds weighing approximately 9.35 carats, length approximately 17 inches; the larger and smaller brooches designed as flowerheads centered by full rose-cut diamonds framed by black enamel anthers, the petals pavé-set with round diamonds weighing a total of approximately 10.50 carats, the leaves of green and blue plique-à-jour enamel, may be fitted to the necklace or worn separately; the earclips designed as mabé pearl buds set with small round and single-cut diamonds. With leather case signed Moira, 11 New Bond Street.
Condition
In good overall condition. The necklace appears to be rhodium-plated yellow gold (some minor spots of yellow visible on underside of the two clasps). One leaf to the smaller brooch has a cell devoid of plique-à-jour enamel; the enamelling is in otherwise good condition. The rose-cut diamonds on the brooches are approximately near colorless and SI-I clarity. The round-cut diamonds on the necklace and brooches are approximately H-I color, SI-I clarity. The single-cut diamonds on the earrings are approximately near colorless, VS-SI clarity. The pieces are not signed but have the original case and a receipt for insurance from Moira London with exact weights, etc. dating from '01.
