Description
The pendant set with a large oval cabochon emerald within a hinged door-knocker style frame pavé-set with round diamonds and set at the top with a smaller cabochon emerald, supported on a necklace of rectangular links set with additional round diamonds, the whole set with approximately 824 round and 8 square-cut diamonds weighing approximately 22.00 carats, mounted in gold, length 18 ¾ inches.
Condition
The emeralds are a medium green and semi-transclucent (not quite as bluish and a bit lighter than indicated by catalogue illustration). The diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. Heavy, nicely made and in good condition.
