Description
Composed of 549 sapphire beads measuring approximately 12.9 to 4.5 mm., arranged in three-row segments, connected by four pierced buckle ornaments set with round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 3.80 carats, each centering an oval cabochon sapphire, mounted in 18 karat white gold, total length approximately 29 inches, separates into four segments.
Condition
Necklace separates into four parts. It may be worn long (29") or as shorter necklace by removing one segment. It may also be worn as either of two chokers by joining one of the longer segments (10" and 9") to one of the shorter segments. None of the combinations form a bracelet. The sapphires are medium, slightly grayish blue, some color variations, moderately included. Diamonds are H-J color, VS-SI clarity. Overall good condition, one clasp is tight and hard to open.
