Description

The three-paneled case decorated in black enamel with chinoiserie scenes separated by bands of rose-cut diamonds, terminals applied with orangy-red enamel imitating coral, the crown set with a cultured pearl, reversing to a rectangular dial with black Arabic numerals and moon-style hands, suspended from a black silk cord with an enamel and diamond link, and an oval brooch at the top similarly decorated, mounted in platinum and gold, movement signed C. Pourrat.  

Condition

Elongated octagon movement, signed on bridge: C. Pourrat, Swiss, 18 jewels, 3 adjustments, in good working condition. The diamonds are of decorative quality and the enamel is intact except in one small place on the red enamel where the pendant attaches to the cord, and a scratch on the black enamel at the watch case front.
