Description

The cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 8.80 carats, framed by 11 old-mine diamonds, the border decorated with calibré-cut sapphires, further enhanced with  single-cut and small rose-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 7, 1 sapphire missing.

Condition

Sapphire is a light to medium blue with obvious color zoning. There is a crack on the pavilion, facet junctions are lightly abraded. Diamonds are I-K color range, SI-I clarity predominantly. One calibre-cut sapphire is missing. The shank has an inner sizing band. In good condition overall.
