Description
Comprising: a sautoir designed as a series of onyx batons, to a stylised pendant embellished with pear-shaped and oval cabochon amethyst, modified step-cut citrines and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 880mm, pendant length approximately 140mm; the pendant claw-set with a oval citrine, length approximately 440mm, British hallmarks for London, 1983, maker's mark.
Condition
Gem-set and diamond pendant: Onyx batons with some small nicks and chips, displaying some slight variations in colour and banding. Amethyst ranging from medium to dark purple with medium to strong saturation of colour, abraded surfaces, the lower stone with several surface reaching inclusions. Citrines a very light brownish yellow to light brownish yellow with weak saturation of colour. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00 - 6.30 carats, bright, lively stones. Supple chain. In good condition.
Citrine pendant necklace. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to chain, British import marks for London, 1981. Citrine a medium brownish yellow, measuring approximately 34mm x 24mm x 17.2mm. Loupe clean. Minor scratches visible with magnification. In very good condition.
