Description

Comprising: a five stone ring, set at alternates with cushion-shaped sapphires and circular-cut diamonds, to a scrolled gallery, size O ½; a brooch designed as a crescent, set with graduated oval sapphires, accented by circular- and single-cut diamonds, late 19th century; and a bracelet millegrain collet-set to the front with three circular-cut  sapphires, interspersed with similarly set circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 160mm, early 20th century.

Condition

Ring: Estimated total diamond weight 0.40 - 0.45 carats, bright and lively stones. Sapphires well matched in colour a moderately strong blue, some with colour zoning visible with magnification, the central stone with a surface reaching fracture, some small chips to girdle edges on stones. Light scratches to band. Brooch: Scratched inventory marks. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.35 - 0.40 carats, bright, lively stones. Sapphires a medium blue with medium saturation. Typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Pin to reverse a little bent. Later safety chain. Bracelet: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.40 - 2.50 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Sapphires a medium blue with moderately strong saturation of colour, well matched. Well articulated. Secure clasp with safety chain. Collection in good condition.
