Description

Designed as a hummingbird in flight, its wings and tail of carved coral feathers highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, its eye a cabochon emerald, its body of carved mother-of-pearl, signed Kutchinsky, maker's marks, British hallmarks for London, 1975, case by Kutchinsky, London.

Condition

Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and KLD maker's mark for Kutchinsky Limited to reverse of wing and also signed Kutchinsky to reverse of tail feather. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.45-2.50 carats, bright and lively stones. Cabochon emerald showing typical inclusions under 10x magnification. Coral well matched in colour and showing natural banding. carved mother-of-pearl of white bodycolour, medium to high iridescence. Condition as new.
