Description

Comprising: a pendant necklace designed as a butterfly, its body and wings decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, the eyes embellished with circular-cut rubies, length approximately 440mm; a pendant necklace designed as a butterfly, the body set with pear-shaped sapphires, the wings decorated with circular-cut sapphires and diamonds, the eyes highlighted with similarly cut sapphires, length approximately 420mm, British hallmarks; and a ring, centring on a marquise-shaped sapphire within a ballerina setting of tapered baguette stones, size K ½, numbered.

Condition

Large Butterfly pendant necklace: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Principal stones estimated to weigh approximately 1.55 - 1.65 carats, of mixed colour and clarities, remaining stones bright and lively. Smaller Butterfly pendant necklace: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires a dark blue well matched in colour, typical inclusions visible with magnification. Diamonds bright and lively. Ring: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to inside of band. Sapphire a dark blue with strong saturation measuring approximately 17.0mm x 7.7mm x 4.75mm, estimated to weigh approximately 4.73 carats. Band with scratches and indentations consistent with wear. Collection in good condition.
