A CULTURED PEARL, EMERALD AND DIAMOND BROOCH AND A GEM-SET AND DIAMOND BROOCH

Comprising; a stylised bouquet of flowers, set throughout with brilliant-, single-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds highlighted by four cultured pearls and a principle step-cut emerald, together with a  brooch designed as an open work, stylised Greek cross, the central section highlighted with carved coral and lapis lazuli leaves, single-cut diamonds and cabochon emeralds to a further surround of single-cut diamonds and four principle fluted coral leaves, highlighted by rope work detail.

Cultured Pearl Brooch: Stamped 585 for 14 carat gold and R to the reverse. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.56-6.58 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS on average. Emerald of slightly-yellowish green hue, very slightly brownish saturation, light tone, chip to girdle, small surface reaching inclusions and characteristic inclusions. Cultured pearls of cream and white bodycolour, pink overtones and low lustre. Remnants of yellow glue to reverse of one cultured pearl. In very good condition. Gem-Set Brooch: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.70-2.74 carats. Lapis lazuli leaves and carved coral both well matched in colour. Carved coral exhibiting some natural banding with some distinct white patches and evidence of glue seen to reverse of one carved coral shell. Cabochon emeralds with characteristic inclusions, some surface reaching. Faceted emeralds with noticeable abrasions to table facets and heavily included. Some minor indications of tarnishing and lead solder to the reverse. In good condition.
